What better way to begin a Texas summer wedding than with a gorgeous rehearsal dinner at Allan House in Austin. With the help of the brilliant Whim Hospitality and Westbank Flower Market, Brice and Cameron had their dinner event transformed into an ethereal dream; a pop of blue from the denim floral tablecloths had the summer bouquet of peach and white roses poppin’ in front of all their guests!
Arriving via party bus, Brice and Cameron’s nearest and dearest enjoyed a fab cocktail reception outside under the century’s old oak trees, with the bar nicely situated on the wraparound verandah, complete with an iced tea, queso and guac stations. And of course we cannot forget the adorable Murphy’s Margarita also on the menu.
With Allan House overflowing with glamour and the charm of Downtown Austin, the heritage trees and Texas blossoms made the perfect background for photos of Brice and Cameron’s friends and family, and the front entrance white doors had a perfectly sized window allowing me to capture a snippet of the chandelier just inside.
Dinner was buffet style from the delicious Pappasito’s, and was followed by a toast from the grooms parents. The toasts continued from members of the wedding party and then the bride and groom themselves stood to say a few words of thanks before the night ended.
From the moment Brice and Cameron and their guests arrived, love and laughter filled the room and gave you the warm and fuzzies. Their rehearsal dinner is one of the most beautiful I’ve captured and I am honored to have created a gallery for them!
